Error : Sidecar can’t connect wirelessly because your iPad’s Wi‑Fi is not available (but it is actually available!)

I keep getting this error message despite the fact that I can easily mirror my iPad 6th Gen screen on MacBook Pro 2021 M1, (I suppose this means the wi-fi works fine and they are both connected) , but could not do the opposite , can not use iPad as a secondary screen to MacBook,

(both are updated to the latest software) .

any suggestions ?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 14.1

after reading many articles about the subject , and successfully mirroring iPad screen on the MacBook , unfortunately I still can not use the iPad to mirror the MacBook screen ,

the iPad and the MacBook are both connected to the same wifi , and there is no active personal hotspot ...

here is a screenshot of the error message :

if the wifi is not available , how could the iPad screen be mirrored in the MacBook ?!
