Disabling Safari See All Tabs pinch gesture

but how is pinch to reveal tabs in Safari an issue(?) simply don't use it.

The issue is that it triggers accidentally when you don't want it to. You attempt to zoom and if you gesture incorrectly, it triggers Show All Tabs instead.

It's really a nuisance for a feature that's really not all that helpful. And when you do need Show All Tabs, it already has a dedicated button anyways. There's absolutely no reason to assign a gesture to it. But it's been 10+ years of complaints and I doubt Apple is listening.

the bettertouchtool solution to take the safari pinch out action and assign it to nothing action locks out the zoom pinch on every website

I have never used "bettertouchtool" to comment on your third party— if it is interfering with normal operation of the macOS try disabling it to test.

I did not even realize that it would work that way, but I have only been doing Mac for 20+ years.

There is no user setting to cull out the pinch feature on Safari only.
