iOS17.1.1 update: contact info photo query

Hi all,

I have gone into the info section for one of my contacts and it says ‘recent photo update from (contact name)’.

Does this mean the contact has added the photo shown to the left of this notification to their contact details for me?

This is the contact photo I already have for them on my phone, so wondering if it’s detecting that or if they have set the same photo?
