With iOS 16 I could go to my photos and copy Text off the photos and paste it in my notes. This feature has disappeared since I downloaded iOS 17. Could someone please tell me how I can do this with iOS 17? That was a feature I really can’t live without with the type of work I do.

I just figured it out
If the text is in a box or some sort of table in the picture you have to first crop the picture to eliminate the box
If I do that then I am able to copy and paste the text from the picture
I did not have to do this with iOS 16
I am happy to be able to copy and paste now—but I have to say that it is very inconvenient to have to perform extra step, which adds a substantial amount of time, with each picture after “upgrading” to iOS 17
My settings were set right according to that link and I was following the correct procedure with the photos according to the instructions it provided
So unfortunately that wasn’t it
