How to fix text copying issue from photos on iPhone 13 mini and iPhone 14 Pro? I have a serious chronic illness and depend on this to reduce typing in certain tasks. But lately, it will work for 1 or 2 images an then stop working. I hold a finger over the text and it just doesn't highlight the text. I have to quit the photos app and open it again, and then it works for 1-2 more images but then won't highlight the text anymore. I can't find anyone else with this issue. I have live text turned on and the lastest iOS on both phones. And it's happening with 2 of my iphones - different models. The same way with both. i've reported it as a bug to apple, and searched, but it doesn't seem like this is a huge bug others are having. Thanks! [Re-Titled By Moderator]

iOS 17.1.1 not letting me copy text from pics With iOS 16 I could go to my photos and copy Text off the photos and paste it in my notes. This feature has disappeared since I downloaded iOS 17. Could someone please tell me how I can do this with iOS 17? That was a feature I really can’t live without with the type of work I do.

Go To Language & Region. Look for Live Text at bottom.
