iMessage Not Working

iMessage is not working on iPhone. It all started after the iOS17.1.1 update and it restarted my phone as if it were brand new. I can send and receive iMessages on my ipad and my mac, but constantly get 'not delivered' on the iPhone. I have done various steps from disabling and enabling iMessaging. Confirmed that that my phone number is correct, reset network settings, force restart, turning off wifi, turning off cellular, turning on airplane mode, etc. Nothing is working and the only option I was given was to completely factory reset my phone. Hope that there is another option before going through that hassle.

If you factory reset your phone, make sure to do a backup on your Mac or back it up to iCloud. It looks like you have already done all the troubleshooting steps but make sure you try signing out and then signing back in as a whole from settings (click your name and then scroll to sign out) if it asks, select “keep on my iPhone” then once you have done that, proceed to sign back in again.
