Hi, i have been facing an issue with my iphone in sunlight. While using the camera the entire iphone heats up and the display becomes very dark. In setting full brightness is on. True Tone and Auto Brightness is Off.

Having the same issue but it's not heat related. If I'm in sunlight the display gets so dark I can barely see it and can't read anything. I paid attention and when I walked inside my house it got brighter immediately.
I checked the zoom accessibility setting and it's off already.

This IPhone pro max screen dimming issues is persistent ever since 12 pro max came out. Apple will not admit it but there is a safety mechanism built in for the pro max phones so that the overheating does not burn the battery. The safety mechanism dims the phone automatically when using apps like the camera or even intensive gaming especially out in the hot sun. I live in Dallas and I bought the pro max phones starting from 12 hoping I can use phones for taking construction photos. They still have not fixed this problem for pro max 15. So much for pro.
Instantly noticed the same issue after upgrading from 14 Pro to the 15 Pro. Still haven't found an answer. Did you manage to find anything?
If you have tried all the obvious then it is Zoom overlay causing the issue. Go settings > accessibility
> zoom > zoom filter >select none
