Apple doesn't offer a black magic keyboard without the numeric pad

I just don't get it why. I'm a developer and I really like the built in keyboard in my Mac, and I'm looking for the same for my desktop setup, but I can't found one. I can't use the full sized keyboard since it's not possible for me to sit properly with this kind of setup as I would be sitting with my hands to the left or stretch my right hand to compensate the width of the numpad that I don't really need. So I bough the short keyboard from the other company, but I'll buy the Apple one if there will be the short version of it.
