Siri responding to “Thank you”

For a few weeks I was pleasantly surprised that when I said “Thank you” to Siri, she’d respond with “You’re welcome”, “No problem”, “My pleasure” or similar phrases. Now it’s no longer happening. Was it some sort of temporary trial? I sort of liked it.

For me, if I say "thank you" after asking it to set a reminder. It says "ok, I'll cancel your reminder" and then removes it. Wtf??

This was posted in November. I tried it today, and I still got "My pleasure" to my "thank you".

It seems to be somewhat inconsistent. There are some tasks when, once done, Siri stop listening, and you have to trigger it again in order to say "thank you", and others where it may continue to listen and respond.
