No swipe and locked out big time now

This phone has been repeatedly locking into a no swipe ability that I have temporarily escaped by doing the -click the volume up then down quickly and then hold the right side button in until the apple logo comes up. Well that doesn’t work anymore. Now I can’t get it to do anything after the apple logo comes up, it just shuts down again. I had downloaded the newer upgrade two days ago hoping it would fix the no swipe issue, now it does nothing. Apple better have a quick cure or I’m going Apple free for now on.

There is a hardware problem with your phone.

Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop.

As far as your statement about a "quick cure", we don't really care what brand that you might buy.

I would like to think Apple may care about a whole lot of people giving up on them due to their phones turning into trash can fodder. I don’t even “get” your point. Being an Apple support community I would think you would care.

It’s an IPhone 11. Wasn’t trying to be rude, just didn’t get his point. There are so many people complaining about this problem, seems there would be an answer out there. Somebody must have fixed 1 of them by now.

Telling us that Apple is going to have to provide a quick fix or you will buy from another vendor will not get you anywhere on this support forum.

I’m beginning to believe that perhaps this is another Apple scam to get people to upgrade their phones like when they did that baloney with the earlier phones of slowing them down intentionally.
