Iphone 16 not booting up

Experiencing this same issue. Happened to me AFTER the eSIM transferred, cannot do anything.

Swipe up requests PIN, but then immediately goes away. Restarting shows a loading icon then boots into the same issue. Cannot restore via Mac because the phone is not unlocked.

Haven't even made it past initial setup yet.

I had to go to the apple store. don't go to your phone carrier - I went to two stores (one was apparently not a "corporate" Verizon? I don't know)... and there wasn't anything they could do. when you go to apple- ask them to force the restore. it is getting caught in the iOS upgrade and freezing the whole thing. they need to hard wire in and do it from a laptop.

Same here. Phone is in total limbo. Did anyone figure it out?

Forced Restart provided no resolution.

Try a Forced Restart on the phone. Follow the instructions very carefully, as this is a bit tricky. (Hint.....ignore the "slider" when it appears and keep holding the Side button in until the Apple logo appears. This might take another 30 seconds.)

There are only 2 possible results when you perform a Forced Restart:

1) The phone returns to normal operation

If after a few tries the phone will still not restart.

2) Contact Apple Support.
