notifications ios 17.1.1

It’s a good thing that you’re missing notifications.. we shouldn’t be so addicted to our phones. Landlines used to be the only thing that exist. Be happy you don’t get them as it might help save your brain

iPhone ΟS upgrade to 17.1.1 I get no notifications on text sent to me. Now, I have to check my phone very often while waiting on important confirmation or so.

Text editor has been “improved” therefore it is now awkward to insert something between words. It snaps to closed one and wants to edit it.

Apple “fixes” supposedly “problems” or makes “improvements”, in mean time breaks important stuff. It all gets more pathetic every year.

This discussion forum, has had broken comment posting page for years. Still has.

To turn off your focus, swipe down from top right to open up your control panel, you focus should be displayed, click on it, this will open your list of focus’. Click on the highlighted one which should make them all unselected. If you get your notifications then you need to look at what you have set on your focus. They must have done something with them in the release.

I stopped receiving all notifications except my messages. My mail, any of the social media apps is not working!

I don’t receive any text message notifications at all. My Apple Watch doesn’t show the notifications, either. All other app notifications are working

I had the same problem. Spoke to apple support and in the end had to backup the iPhone, restore the iPhone to factory settings and then restore from backup.

That appeared to have done the trick.

so do i. All app notifications are gone.

🤦‍♂️ I had “hide alerts” on for my friend who I was using as a test phone.

I can get notifications thats from an apple app, but if it’s third party I’m not getting anything.

If you use focus, turn them all off and see what happens.
