I was logged in on my Ipad. Now it is lost, and cannot find it in find my. Why can that be?

I have lost my Ipad. I didn't use find my on it before, but I was logged into the system. If I open the on my Iphone, there is nothing about my Ipad, like it didn't even existed. Is there something I could do to make it show my location?

I've found the answer. I've never used it, therefore it wasn't set up or allowed on the device. From here, it is pure luck, if it gets back to me.

Always make sure to enable it.
