Google Calendar Widget saying "Open"

I have been having an issue with my Google Calendar Widget on my iphone 15 pro max and my brand new macbook. I am on the latest OS on both.

I have

Performed a whole wipe on my phone, restored, Not working

Signed out of ALL google apps and signed back in, Not working

The calendar app it self works fine, but the widget just says "Open". No data is on the widget. Went to my macbook and tried adding the widget there, and it does the same. Im going crazy at this point. I cant find any help online. My wife has the same phone, same accounts, same ios build and she doesnt have any issues. I have tried all the tricks to sign out of all of my google accounts on my phone, reset and sign back in, still doesnt work. PLEASE HELP!! Current ios is 17.1

Thank you so much for your reply. I have posted the same thing on the Google form. Nobody knows how to fix it and some have told me to come to this side as well. So I’m trying to fight this battle on both ends.

In that case, the only thing I can suggest is to look into the app's settings to see if iOS puts any restrictions on data loading (auto, manual, etc.).

And I suppose you looked in Google Agenda online to see if your settings are identical to your wife's Agenda.

We are quite good with Apple products here, but you could probably get more knowledgeable advice on Google forums since it is a Google product (even if running on an Apple device).
