Hi just set up my long awaited iPhone 15 Pro… disappointed with performance.
Anyone else experiencing long downloading time, slow or no streaming and spotty connectivity even on my home WiFi. HELP!
This is sad for the price we pay for Apple products.
Some of the suggestions here for Wi-Fi connectivity problems on the iPhone 15 deal with being able to connect to a Wi-Fi network. That’s not really the problem. At least not for me. It is the ability to download information from the Internet. My iPhone 12 was blazing fast. my new iPhone 15 takes so long that I just give up and turn it off. Is it a hardware problem with the phone? Or software? If it’s software, Apple is certainly taking its time trying to rectify it it would seem that many of us are having the same issue , what a disappointment.

I've upgraded from Iphone 13 to 15. My Wifi connection does not work in places where my Iphone 13 used to work. Specifically my bedroom, the connection drops with Iphone 15. I can no longer airdrop my nightly meditation unless I leave my phone out in the hallway where the phone picks up the signal. Feel like I have gone backward.

If you need help with your Wi‑Fi password

or If you have iOS 16 / iPadOS 16 (or higher):
Go to -> Settings -> tap Wi-Fi -> tap on the hidden Password -> enter Passcode -> you will then see the Wi-Fi Password.
If they are On, turn Off Hotspot & VPN.
Just another reference: iPhone 15 Pro, 512 MB memory, running IOS 17.2.1, running a four APs meshed ( Arknis 810 ) in my home, connected to a Fidium 1 Gb Fiber ISP, using an Edge/ UI router.
For throughput testing used both olkla (Speedtest) and fast.com.
Speedtest - 590 D and 588 U
fast.com - 798 D and 799 U
its always good to check which radio you are using WiFi or Cellular - with the fast cellular speeds - it might be that your not really connected on WiFi. My AT&T bandwidth is amazingly good with 5G - I’m grandfather to a no throttling plan which helps.
I recently upgraded to the new Arknis AP from the 500 model, which made a huge difference in performance. It was like my new iPhone resource depleted the APs hence giving me poor throughput. I understand the protocol over WiFi and it’s possible to overwhelm the older APs…
in my limited testing, with multiple WiFi environments, the iPhone 15 performance is amazingly fast with a modern WiFi APs

I had this same problem and noticed my VPN that comes with the phone was going bonkers. If you have a VPN connected on it, delete it and try to connect and use the internet. That fixed it for me
