What is Apple doing about the iPhone 15 Pro Max blurry photo issue?
Does anyone know what Apple's plan is regarding the HORRIBLE quality of photos on the 15 Pro Max? I see the issue posted everywhere, even on YouTube, and yet, when I call support, I'm told I should reset my phone so they can troubleshoot as if it's my phone that's the issue. Can't an Apple employee take a 14 pro max and a 15 pro max and take some photos and you'll see the issue?
I just opened up some photos on Photoshop, a couple from my former 13 pro max, and a couple from my 15 pro max, and zoomed in to 200% on all of them. UNBELIEVABLE - the 15 pro max photos are blurry at that zoom, and the 13 pro max photos are sharp and gorgeous. (photo comparison attached below.)
This is too expensive a phone for this poor quality. Does anyone know what Apple plans to do to fix this? I don't want to reset my phone, again, when that is clearly not the issue, and it has been present since day 1.
The default portrait mode seemed to cause some of the issues, and I turned that off. I've experimented between HEIC, Raw 12, Raw 24, and all off, and the issue is the same on all versions. Night photography is also disappointing. Used to be amazing on my 13 pro max. I've toggled most of the camera settings on and off, nothing fixes this issue.
Will Apple be fixing this, or, if not, give us a free version of the next iPhone to make up for this extreme flaw? This may be my last ever iPhone, so disappointed.
