Listening to podcast I sometimes like to fast forward by double clicking and holding headphone mic. Since updating to 17.1 when I double click to fast forward it also doubles playback and I have to go to the podcast app to deselect the 2x speed selection. Is this a bug or a new normal ?

What I have noticed is in the past, when you held down the fast forward or rewind button, podcasts used to fast-forward or rewind audibly as long as you had the button held down, like holding down the fast forward or rewind buttons on a CD player.
Instead it now increases or decreases playback speed as well as jumps forward or back.
If you just tap the fast forward or rewind buttons, it will now jump back 15 seconds or forward 30 seconds as there is no longer a "hold down and audibly seek forward or back" function within the Podcasts app.
This more closely aligns car and headphone controls with the controls available within the app itself.
