After updating to iOS 17.1 my notifications are all over the place. While my screen is locked and off I sometimes get notifications but for the most part I don't. Screen will not wake to the notification. Very annoying.... this was working before 17.1. I have reset my phones twice with no luck.

I think we need to keep using the feedback form here to request these issues get sorted, I just used it this morning to voice my displeasure about lock screen notification behavior, as well as other deficiencies the Messages app has that Android has had for years.
I'm not sure where to find the feedback link, I've only ever seen it posted in other threads.

I basically don’t trust my phone anymore. The only reason I continue to use it is because I’m too busy to learn how to use an android phone right now. But if this starts affecting work or school, I may get have to switch.
in the meantime, I bought an alarm clock, because my alarm doesn’t always go off, even when it’s not been muted.
I also intentionally check messages every couple hours to make sure I haven’t missed anything, because my phone just randomly chooses to not tell me.
I’ve checked all of my settings several times. I’m convinced this is a glitch.
