How do I get a radio station URL to play in apple music? Its a valid and secure web address that plays fine but when I paste the url to apple music I get no audio? The eq graph goes up and down when I hit play but i get no audio? Need help! Buggin the crap out of me!

For me I have gotten a little further. Its really odd now. I have the URL address that I obtained right through apple music as the stream is available as one of their own stations listed when I run a search in music. It is https://music.apple.com/us/station/lazer-99-3-98-5/ra.1460922909
When I click on it, it goes there and plays just fine. I do not however get any option to "add to playlist" like my other stations that I have done so with by entering a url. I then read someone said to change the beginning from http:// to music:// to read like this:
music://music.apple.com/us/station/lazer-99-3-98-5/ra.1460922909
That works for a split second but not long enough for me to click on it to see if the "add to playlist" option comes up. Instead, it links automatically back to the https://music.apple.com/us/station/lazer-99-3-98-5/ra.1460922909 address and once again. I only get the 4 options about sharing it available to me.
My other streaming stations come up with a different-looking menu option. Add to playlist is one of them.

So frustrating. There has to be a way to add it to a playlist or if someone knows how I can duplicate a stream I already have working in my playlist and just rename it and provide the correct url address in the file tab please let me know. The file tab seems to be locked down and I can't highlight anything to change.

* On your HomePod: Ask Siri to play a radio station.
* On your PC: Open iTunes, choose Music from the pop-up menu, then click Radio in the navigation bar.
* On the web: Go to music.apple.com, then click Radio in the sidebar.

Thanks Brittany1416, but that doesn't answer my question. Iam asking how do I get a radio station URL that I know works and copy and paste it into Apple Music's "open stream url" to work. When I do this, it adds and seems to be in music as the play button works, and the graph goes up and down but I hear no audio. Is there a trick to get it to work? Does it have to be a certain format? I have 4 total streams 3 all coming from 181 FM all work fine. The 4th is Big R Radio Country 100.9 which I have tried every possible stream I can locate and they all work from their online players but none work when I try to add them to Apple Music. I just don't understand why not. It's so weird. It's the same exact web url address so why isn't Apple Music working with it? Is it a bug?
As mentioned, the stream plays via Edge ( and am able to AirPlay)
i am a bit frustrated that a Apple “invented” hsl stream does not play on Apple apps?!

Have the same issue. No able to play/import a HLS stream via the music app.
Funfact: the below link is playable via Edge in an iphone. Not on Safari on the same iphone.
So please any guidance on how to add the below URL to the music app?

If some work and others don't then I would imagine it is an incompatible streaming format. Do you have the URL?

I don't know, but .m3u8 is a playlist format rather than a stream.
