KQED is not able to play (again) from Apple Music

I previously commented on another (now closed) thread about this same topic. A couple of days ago, it started happening again. The KQED channel on Apple Music is still there, but when I click the play icon, it doesn't do anything.

This is unfortunate, because the KQED app streams at a very low bitrate that sounds bad. The Apple Music stream - when it works, anyhow - streams at a better bitrate and has no distracting audio artifacts. Hopefully it will start working again soon.

I’ve been having the same problem. All devices updated and hard reset, I get a “The requested URL was not found on the server” error if I try to play from my phone in Apple Music. It’s very frustrating just having it not work for days on end with no info anywhere about it. The fact it keeps happening for days at a time every few months indicates that something is repeatedly going wrong but I’ve never seen anything from Apple acknowledging the problem. It’s probably not that widespread otherwise there would probably be more people saying something. Feels like it’s a bug that keeps cropping up but that they don’t care enough to look into.

Yes, it's back in the Apple Music app now, but coincidentally, it's still not appearing in the Apple Music source within my Sonos controller apps (mobile and desktop). My hypothesis now is that Sonos is actively blocking radio streams like KQED from Apple Music, because it competes with the value prop of their own HD (premium) Sonos Radio service. I've posted a topic regarding this on the Sonos Community forum - if anyone else is having this issue, please take a moment to chime in there, too.

I can only listen via kqed "tunein"? GBH (Boston's NPR) streams flawlessly. Never an issue. I don't get why streaming kqed is consistently problematic via itunes/apple music. And no: I don't intend to pay for apple's music app. They've screwed me over and ripped me off for hundreds of songs and albums I purchased via itunes. Never again!
