Iphone 8 has frozen compass
The compass will not move and I can't find anywhere to recalibrate it. Have reset the phone several times with not positive results.

It sounds like the compass hardware is failing on your device.
I would recommend you contact Apple support via chat or phone and have them run diagnostics. Shouldn't be free of charge unless you decide to proceed with a repair or replacement, if that's even needed.
