My IPhone is receiving multiple (up to 5) duplicate messages from one person with an Android. No one else she texted today received duplicates but me. I had a lot of texts with other folks during this time and none were duplicated. She has followed all of the Android recommendations but it just seems to get worse. It started with two duplicate messages but the last had five.

3.) If your issue continues, try deleting the affected messaging thread with that one contact. After you've deleted it, have the send you another SMS text message to see if that helped out.

1.)Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
2.)Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
3.)Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
4.) If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
5.) Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now. If you don't know your passcode, learn what to do: If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support
