iOS 16 update and my messages are gone
Hi everyone, my phone has recently been glitching really bad so I googled it and it said to update, which I did so. I tried to update to iOS 17 and I was having many issues so I updated to iOS 16 first. Now my phone keeps randomly rebooting and I went to go look at my messages and nothings there it’s completely empty. I tried to “retrieve messages” with the edit button and it says nothing has been deleted. But when I go into my storage which I have close to 60gb left of my 125gb, it still says messages are taking up 28gb?? So I have no idea whats going on. How are my messages still taking up room on my phone but everything’s been wiped? Also been trying to update to iOS 17 after all this and am still having many issues. How do I fix this? Thank you!
