I switched from the Echo Dot to HomePod minis, and I'm thrilled with the change. One issue, my Ring doorbell doesn't sync with it. I can only use a wireless doorbell because I'm in an apartment building. Does any wireless doorbell/camera work with the HomePod?

Fortunately Apple Support provides the "How to" info. online (links below may help):
Seems you set up HomePod Mini as a Home Hub, and use a wireless doorbell with the Home app;

I was hoping to find something that worked natively with the Homepod in the same way that Ring easily connects with Amazon devices. From what I see there needs to be additional apps and/or devices to act as a go-between from the door bell and the Homepod. I'm surprised Apple isn't in any rush to team up with a wireless doorbell. But I appreciate your offering suggestions! I'm reluctant to connect a wireless device if it involves bringing in additional devices.

I appreciate the response, thanks! My big thing is it needs to be a wireless doorbell. I'm in an apartment building and I can't use anything that involves connecting doorbell wires. The one advantage Amazon's Echo Dot has over Apple is they have wireless doorbells that sync right up to the device, and it mounted to my door without screws. The Logitech only works if it's hard wired. I'm really surprised that Apple hasn't been quicker to offer a wireless option by now.
