Apple, please provide a way to independently set the HomeKit doorbell chime volume played on a HomePod/Mini. By independently, I mean independently of the current HomePod music volume. This is BASIC functionality, and its omission is a problem for ALL HomeKit doorbells. Based on this unanswered post, this is a long standing problem that deserves to be addressed by now.
I actually found it useful to see that someone else had this problem in 2021, although I could not add my comment to that thread because it had been closed. It would have been more useful if I could have commented there. So I have listed the issue again here, to show people that the problem still exists - and maybe get help in case I have read the issue wrong.
