Siri isn’t using speakers

I have a 14. My Siri setting is in always spoken responses. Siri won’t talk through the bottom speakers. It talks through the top internal speaker, as if I was holding the phone to my ear, so you can’t hear Siri unless you hold it to your ear. I have my volume up, other apps work with the out loud speakers with no issues. I’ve even took my phone out of silent mode to just try it. I've restarted my phone. Everything. Is there something I’m missing?

So I had done everything on here too- till I asked my 16 year old- and he said tell "Siri, increase your voice volume," She responded really low "its already at its max, are you sure?"- I said "Yes" and I could hear her again.

Hey there ErinRae2013,

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We'll be happy to help with Siri. Start with the steps in this guide: If Siri isn't working on your iPhone - Apple Support

"If you can't hear Siri

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Tap Siri & Search.
  3. Tap Siri Responses.
  4. Tap Prefer Spoken Responses to hear Siri speak responses, even when Silent mode is turned on." (Retrieved from resource linked above)

Take care.
