When I add an event and misspell a word I usually use the backspace key to delete the text. Since the recent icloud update, the backspace key doesn't work when trying to add/edit text in icloud calendar. I have to use the arrow keys to move back to a point and then hit delete to remove the unwanted text. Any issues with that from others?

No Fix but seeing it as well - definitely was from the last upgrade.
Broke that and also makes setting times way more tedious.
Horrible update hope they fix it, it seems to work as expected on iPhone - but on any web browser it is garbage.
Apple completely banged it up.

If you misspell something or have a typo and have to backspace to correct it you can't.
I believe the case here is that apple want to use its own workflows. A workaround is to use ctrl+a to select everything and start typing the whole title form the beginning.
I'm not sure when it happened but as of 1/23/2024 on firefox web browser - the seems to be resolved.
