upgraded to iPhone 15 pro max - now reminders don't synch with apple watch

Earlier today I replaced my iPhone 12 Pro Max with an iPhone 15 pro max. Everything about this seemed to go smoothly…. except that reminders now won’t sync to (or from) the watch. Reminders still sync to my iPad and my Mac. Also, everything else that should sync to the watch has done so (e.g. contacts).

The watch is an Ultra (last year’s version), and both devices are updated to the most recent Vera of the OS.

I’m baffled. How do I fix this?

Try Re-Pairing the Apple Watch:

First, Try Updating Both Devices:

Perhaps there are some bugs that need to be fixed. To fix these, update both.

Then... Attempt this Once More:

Pair them: Set up and pair Apple Watch with iPhone - Apple Support
Form There: If your Apple Watch isn't Connected or Paired with your iPhone - Apple Support
