Deleting subscription apps from iPad.

My gen 6 iPad does not give a deleting button for old subscriptions that I want to delete. The only option is hide, share or unhide. I need them deleted. What can be done. I’ve tried speaking to your staff on chat and each time I’m forwarded to the special inquiry team and then they disconnect me. What kind of service is this? Also no one has been able to answer any of these questions. Why don’t you have a level 2 or higher tier to help us users? I know you have a GESA team that should be able to help. This is my 7th attempt to fix this. Please help!

Deleting an App just deletes the App from the device; deletion won't cancel an active subscription.

The following links should help you to both identify and manage any recurring Apple service subscriptions associated with your AppleID account:

If you want to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

Manage App Store purchases, subscriptions, settings, and restrictions on iPad - Apple Support

Subscriptions and Billing - Official Apple Support

Just deleting the app is not going to remove the subscription, you need to go into your settings on your Apple device and see the listing of all active subscriptions and cancel the one that you are not wanting anymore. The process has been made very easy as all subscriptions can be found in this one area for all apps that have them.

Goto Setings > Click on your AppleID at the top > Subscriptions > see the list there and click on the ones you want to cancel, and you can adjust the subscription from there.

Team,

the issue is not the subscription. The issue is the app icon. All my old subscription apps are taking up my memory. I want to delete the icons themselves. I do not have subscription I want to delete. I don’t have many or any. I’ve had all that you all have mentioned in place. I just can’t delete the icons. They only show up in the purchase field. They do not populate for me to delete them. Make sense?

Apps that you have purchased (including Apps that a "free" downloads) are permanently associated with the AppleID account from which they were purchased.

While it is possible to "hide" a purchased App, the association cannot be deleted from your AppleID account.

Once hidden, you'll not see the App in your purchased App listing - unless it is again deliberately installed from the Apple App Store.
