I need to delete an existing Time Machine Drive.

I need to delete an existing Time Machine Drive which was encrypted. It failed and I replaced it, but I still need to delete the old HDD that is on the Time Machine Drive list...and No, I wasn't using keychain, the drive had a separate encryption password that I lost.

iMac 27″ 5K, macOS 13.6

Open System Preferences > Time Machine.

Click "Select Disk...".

Click the name of the disk you wish to delete and then click "Remove Disk".
