Time Machine Not Configured

I succesfully encrypted a hard disk on a time machine and I initiated to turn off a FileVault without knowing the risk of it. I didn't know it lead into decrypting the same hard disk so I thought it was best to remove the disk instead of waiting to finish it's decrypting. I checked it back and it says time machine not configured.

I tried to select a backup disk once again but it says just like image below

Here is what it shows on the FileVault recently

I did turned it off but it went back automatically on and I don't have any idea how to solve this problems.

I needed to backup data through a time machine in order to update the latest softwares cause it's been a years and I don't want to lose any data stored on it.

Thank you in advance for any helps.

You have to let it finish decrypting, even if it takes 2 months.

What does this reprt?

Filevault state, open Terminal & paste these in & press enter…

    fdesetup status

diskutil cs list | grep 'Conversion Progress'

Hello, thank you for your response.

Sure if I already knew then but sadly I've removed the disk, does it lead to decrypting state of failure?

Do I have to wait until it finish to continue backup data and update the software?

It was the result after I tried to re-use a previous hard disk that still on decrypting..

Thanks! Here is the result..

FileVault is on

conversion progress 75%.

Does it refer to a decrypting progress?

*p.s Idk if it's a good thing but the conversion is 83% now and still going on..

I've tried to disable with this also but it doesn't work

sudo fdesetup disable

FileVault was not disabled

Any other help matters, thank you!
