IOS 17.0.3 Siri not working in CarPlay

So Siri stopped working this morning, I have reset my network connections, I have tried three different plugs, two different USB ports in the vehicle, and nothing. It works fine when I disengage CarPlay.


I have restarted the car, I have reset the suburban by taking the positive plug off the battery and putting it back on. I have had the suburban forget this phone on Apple CarPlay, shut the car down, restarted the car, restart pairing with the phone… still nothing!


From what I’ve read, this has been a previous problem, and it seems we are regressing and not progressing.


Appell needs to fix this because our business uses CarPlay to communicate while we’re driving so we’re not holding our phone and texting.


i have literally done everything everyone has said from two years back to four days back and no results!

It sounds like you've done a lot of troubleshooting for this issue with CarPlay. If you've taken the related steps here for a solution: If you need help with CarPlay


You mentioned taking most of these troubleshooting steps with the vehicle, but not the iPhone itself. We would ensure you've taken all of the steps above for the iPhone, as well.


If the issue continues, then we would recommend taking the last step listed and contact Apple Support directly: Get Support They would need to take it from here.
