As of yet Apple has not found a solution in how to fix the problem with the timer. The timer does not allow me to change sounds and reverts back to
radial (default). The timer is basically useless because even in default setting you barely hear it. Is Apple doing anything about this issue, besides advising the customer to force restart, which does nothing to resolve the problem.

It reverts back when you use Siri. The work around is open timer and delete all the presets, set manual time, don’t use Siri, press the side button to put phone to sleep and let the timer go off. Then use Siri to set timer. I did this for the times I use the most.
