Phone automatically blocks calla

My phone, a mini 12, automatically blocks certain numbers. Even after I unblock them, they revert to being blocked.

Not sure why that happens, not sure how to stop it. Help is welcome.

Check Settings > Phone > Silence Unknown Callers

iPhone won't allow me to block calls I installed iOS 17.4 and now I cannot block callers. I use the same process of clicking the red Block Caller and it turns blue and shows Unblock Caller. However, if I go back to make sure I blocked it, I see the red Block Caller. The block doesn't set. I also tried to add the same numbers from the Blocked Contacts screen - doesn't work.

Blocked callers call still coming through Lately numbers I have blocked on iPhone are still coming through. I have updated iPhone software 16.3.1. I received 3 calls from the SAME number and it was blocked after this first call and shows it is blocked in settings/phone/blocked contacts and also if trying to "re-block" again, it shows it as blocked and only offers "Unblock" to that number
