My VIP folder was working fine. A couple of days ago I marked a new contact as a VIP. When I went to my VIP folder I had all emails in that folder. This is happening on Iphone & Ipad. It seemed to happen after my update to 17.02. Just did the 17.03 last night. Still working the same.

Thank goodness someone else is having the same issue.
This started with the first release of iOS/iPadOS 17 for me.
I have reported it to Apple and have a case id. Despite multiple tests with them, they have now gone quiet and not responding to my case queries.
One question that I think is relevant, do you use different Apple IDs for iCloud and Purchases?
In tests that I have done, this appears to be what causes the issue.
Unbelievably annoying as I heavily relied on the VIP folder to filter out all the unimportant emails I get.
