I would like to know, if it's possible to create a widget or shortcut, to hide or show caller ID, instead of having to go Settings - phone - show caller id - personal/business - and then enable or disable slider.
In my line of work, I keep hiding and showing my number. Otherwise the people I assist, would start calling me directly.

This issue only needs to be addressed by the Cellular Service Provider not Phone Manufacturers (Any brand for that matter)

If you are a VIP they (Cellular Service Provider) will enable it for you to toggle On / Off caller ID
Regarding the spinning wheel and not able to reach the position where it is greyed out, Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) The agency who issued the SIM to you, whether they have any such feature with them.

The answer seems to miss the point. How can you have a voice over short cut which says "turn off Show Caller" or "turn on Show Caller" without manually toggling which the answer seems to tell you to do!
