Shortcut for Show / Hide Caller ID

I’m trying to create a shortcut to the setting to turn on/ off show my caller ID, but unsuccessful :(

It’s important as I use my personal phone at work and I need to hide my caller ID so my customers won’t have my personal phone number (which connects to my bank, my Pay ID… )

Anyone know how to create this useful shortcut? When I search about it , there are many people trying to find a solution to this since more than 10 years ago.

I understand that the setting is related to the cellular service provider so it is more than a function on / off of the iPhone, but I just need a shortcut to the setting page so I can toggle on / off manually !

(of course even better if I can then use Siri to action the shortcut)

Please help !

Edit: currently own iPhone 6s and iPhone 11 with the latest iOS.

I wonder if SravanKrA could use his considerable expertise to address the matter raised by serious_celia. The problem is not that Show/Hide Caller ID is not working - it is. The problem is how to set up a voice toggle so that it can be done quickly at different times during the day depending on the types of calls being made.

For voice calls: In many countries this is enabled by your carrier only if you are a VIP.

Contact your carrier.

Is this your corporate iPhone? Then please contact the system administrator of your corporate
If it is your personal device, in that case, do you have any profile installed by your corporate/organisation/enterprise/School Management?
1. Erase the profile added by you If you have installed a profile on your own --> Install or remove configuration profiles on iPhone - Apple ...
2. Or please contact the system administrator of the organisation who provided the profile to you

This issue only needs to be addressed by the Cellular Service Provider not Phone Manufacturers (Any brand for that matter)

If you are a VIP they (Cellular Service Provider) will enable it for you to toggle On / Off caller ID

Regarding the spinning wheel and not able to reach the position where it is greyed out, Contact your Carrier (Cellular Service Provider) The agency who issued the SIM to you, whether they have any such feature with them.

Thanks for your reply. Sorry your reply didn’t help because I have already been doing those step in the GIF without any issues. As mentioned, it’s my personal phone, and I have been manually toggling off the Show My Caller ID before I make calls for work and then back on again before I call my friends.

I wish to create a Shortcut to simplify the steps instead of needing to go to setting > search > phone > scroll down > show my caller ID > toggle on / off.

I would love this feature too, for similar reasons to serious_celia.

For clarity, this is not an issue with my cellphone carrier or my profile. I can do this on my iPhone 12 but only by selecting: Settings > scroll down to: > Phone > scroll down to: >Show My Caller ID > toggle on/off. This absolutely works fine but is cumbersome.

I (and Celia, I believe) would like to be able to program those actions into one shortcut. It's as simple as that.

It looks like Apple is not allowing the full range of Settings options to be included as shortcut 'actions'. Maybe that's sensible but the ability to toggle on or off 'Show My Caller ID' through one touch, would be a very useful feature.
