Apple maps next turn instructions preview.

In the past, I used to be able to tap the top section of an Apple route on my iphone and get an announcement of the next set of turn instructions.

As far as I can tell, this feature is no longer available.

Is there a way to get this feature back as it so helpful to me when traveling in an area unfamiliar to me. It was great to get an announcement in advance so that I could maneuver into the lane to turn well in advance instead of at the last minute.
