iMovie not exporting after update to Sonoma

Updated to Sonoma. MacBook Air M1.

iMovie, regardless the project created, is not exporting. If I click on the various export buttons, nothing happens (the window to select the quality of export is not prompted).

Tried to desinstall iMovie, trashing the library, delete preferences. Nothing happens.

I called the assistance three times, no solution was provided.

The only thing they told me is to create a new computer user, only with standard settings, and yes the export works.

Anybody faced the same issue? Any solution around?

MacBook Pro 15″, OS X 10.11

Thank you so much. I was about to go mad. I used iMovie in guest account and was able to export to my removable hard drive as normal. Thanks so much.

As of the update to Sonoma I installed on Friday, Dec. 1, iMovie is now exporting movies again! Hurrah!
