I installed the new Sooma 14 and have have been living with the beach ball of death! What is wrong with my machine? I reinstalled the new OS, and there was no change, the spinging beach ball continued to srping.

See if you can do a SafeBoot Use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support will sort many anomalies
report back your success or failure...

Apple had a tech took a look remotely. I did a Safe Boot and but the beach ball of death returned. He suggested a clean and re-instal. But I did not feel safe doing it myself. So I made an appointment and signed up for iCloud with enough memory to put everything there before cleaning and re-instal.
I installed the new Sonoma macOS on my MacBook Pro and have have been living with the spinning beach ball
