How to put iPhone SE 1st Gen into recovery mode if the lock button is broken?

The lock button/power button on top of my iPhone SE 1st Generation is broken. I tried cleaning it but I think the button itself is just broken. Because my I got locked out of this iPhone, but i know the passcode, I wanted to shut it down and put in recovery mode so I can connect to it to iTunes on my computer, but as far as I've read, you need to hold the power button and the home or side buttons down to put it into recovery mode. How should I proceed?

Also to add, I have assistive touch enabled on it, but it only gives the option to restart, not shut down.

iPhone SE, iOS 15

Make an appointment at the Genius Bar to have it repaired.
