How can I retrieve lost Calendar events?

Just like to provide more info for those who having the same question as me

the ‘allow access’ can be found under Setting -> Privacy & Security -> Calendars. Then change from ‘add events only’ to ‘Full Access’ in Awesome Calendar.

If you were using iCloud Calendars, then you can take these steps to troubleshoot the issue and attempt to restore the events using iCloud's website:

• If you accidentally deleted your calendars, bookmarks, or contacts from iCloud
• Restore your calendars and events on iCloud.com

In case you were using another syncing service with Calendar, do you see these missing events when you log into their respective websites using a browser? Which device and software version are you using? Help us to get on the same page.

I got mine back by going to settings and click on “allow access”- all events came back. This was after losing them during updating iOS.

Keep in mind, when you delete the app and redownload it, all of your settings (font size, color schemes, etc) will reset to factory settings. At least they did for me and that was super frustrating. And it did not fix my problem of deleted events.

I lost all data from my awesome calendar on my phone after it uopdated. what can I do?

Same thing happened to me this morning. Were you able to get your info back? If so, how?

Just delete the app and redownload it again. All your calendar events should reappear or prompt you to sync your calendars again.
