Notifications too quite after update

I updated to IOS 17 and wish I hadn't because now I can not hear notifications from my Ecobee app. The default sound is too quiet and can not be adjusted. I have told everyone I know NOT to do the IOS 17 update, because of this problem. It makes my security app worthless if I cannot hear alerts! What is Apple thinking here, it makes no sense to the consumer. Please fix this issue.
