Required managed update

My iMac is running Venture 13.6, and the Software update notice says I am up to date. I keep getting the "Required managed update" notice, but nothing happens when I leave the computer on all night as required. This has happened about 4 times. What does it mean?

What do I do with a "required managed update"? I keep receiving a notification on the top right corner of my iMac. I checked to see if it is a "software update" but it seems It is not. Here is the notification in it's entirety: Required Managed Update An update is scheduled to automatically install tonight. This update requires at least 50% battery or connection to a power source. Your computer will restart to perform the update, no deferrals remaining. The update did not install the evening that it appeared, and has not automatically installed yet some days later. I thought it may be a scam, but have not been affected by it. I've also run Malwarebytes and no issues. I keep getting the notification periodically, usually when I sign in. Does anyone know what this update is, and whether and/or how to install it, or any information as to how to get rid of it? Any information is helpful Andrew

my imac is still on Ver 11.7.1. the aitomatic update settings have been in place and no updates have been done. i have now manually activated the checking for updates finction. it has been running for hours without an update becoming available How do I force an update if an update isn’t available

managed update notice for weeks My Mac Desktop is running Ventura 13.5. For weeks I continue to get a notification stating a managed update is required, you must be plugged in and connected to wifi. I have no software updates that are needed. The issue is this managed update is not taking place. I kept my desktop open and not logged out 3 different times. However, I continue to get the message everyday. Any suggestions?
