My apps not working correctly after iOS 17 update

updated also and none of my social apps are working and can’t sign into anything where I need a network. Ive tried on and off WiFi, mobile network is connected. I just don’t understand what this update did except mess up my phone

Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:

• Press and quickly release Volume UP button
• Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
• Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears and then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. (DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF).

my friend's iPhone 12 Pro max original apps are not working just a black screen..., and the iOS version is 17.1.2,

and for it restart didn't help.

I have reinstalled and that made no difference. I’ve hard reset the phone, forgotten and rejoined the network but the worst culprits are my Apple apps! Journal and Voice Memos won’t play, both of which I use a lot in my work!

Reinstall the Apps:

You should reinstall the apps, and then add them back. IMPORTANT: Be certain to back up your iPhone prior to doing so, that way, you can have something to restore your iPhone from, should anything go wrong afterwards.

I’m having the same problems on my iPhone 12, with version 17.1.2 and one solution provided to reinstall apps is crazy, ridiculous and time consuming. Sounds like Apple needs a fix to their last two fixes/updates.

Any other ideas out there?

speaking of tiktok, have you experienced searching something on tiktok then nothing appears on the “top” section?
