"Calling card/photo" of me not showing up when I call someone from my new iPhone15 Pro

I just got the newest iPhone 15 Pro, and I set up my "my card/picture" that is supposed to show up when I call or message someone else and it's not showing on the other person's phone. Why is that and what might I have done wrong? I set to "share to all contacts" so I don't understand. Does the other person have to have an iPhone 15 also to be able to see it? My partner has an iPhone 12. Thanks for any help...
