GMAIL Notifications on Apple Watch

Just got the new iPhone 15 Pro Max. Ever since I paired my watch with the new phone GMAIL are popping up on my watch non-stop. I receive roughly 200 emails per day. So needless to say it’s driving me nuts. Was not like this when paired to my IPhone 14 Pro Max. I have tried everything within notifications on the phone and on the watch to turn this off. Nothing is working any suggestions?

Hi SKATV,

Are you referring to a Mail notification on your Apple Watch whenever a new email is received? If so, there are two places to check on your iPhone:

1. Settings > Notifications > Mail > Verify is Off.

2. Watch app > My Watch tab > Notifications > Scroll down to Mail > Custom > Notifications Off.

Or, are you getting the actual email on your Apple Watch? If so, what do you have set in the Watch app > My Watch tab > Mail?

This page shows how to read an email when getting a Mail notification, which may also be what's happening:

Hi all,

I don't have announce notifications at Settings-notifications-gmail app even if I then go to Gmail Notification Settings at the bottom of the page which opens the gmail app-settings, there is noting about the watch or any announce notification settings.

Anyone having this problem? Apple Watch suddenly displaying all incoming Gmail emails even with the app on the phone closed/force quit!

Any help will be really appreciated.
