Recently with the iOS 17 update I’ve noticed with my AirPod pros that when I want to lower the volume a little lower than the preset the sound cuts out entirely when before it would actually get quieter relative to sound bar. Now even going just a little under the preset lowest it’ll begin to cut out and then go completely mute.

A Commonly-Reported Known Issue:
I've seen this reported lots of times on these forums. Question is: "Just how many people have actually reported to Apple?"
So, Report this to Apple:
Do your Part: This is a well known issue, and Apple is working on it, assuredly. Apple may not get back to you, directly. But, the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of this, if you don't report it to them.
II. Report this as a Bug to Apple:

Nope, was hoping the new patch would fix it but still seems to be the same
