FaceTime Audio icon grayed out when making a new FaceTime

The first step in troubleshooting this concern will be to complete the actions outlined at If you can't make or receive a FaceTime call on your iPhone or iPad including those under the "If you still need help" section.

If still not working, verify that you can place and receive standard phone calls and check for reported hardware issues using iPhone parts and service history:

"An Unknown Part  message appears if the part installation is incomplete or if the part:

• Was replaced with a nongenuine part
• Was already used or installed in another iPhone
• Isn't functioning as expected"

This may help to indicate if there is failed hardware detected which could prevent functions like phone calls or FaceTime Audio calls to complete.

'm Facing this problem. I just bought my new IPhone 14 Pro IOS 17.02 and I have tried the above steps, adding to it Reset All Settings and it is not working too.

Kindly advise how to proceed.
