Safari video player change in iOS 17

I hate that now when i open a video in Safari and i use the video player in full screen if I want to go forward in the video I can't just swipe right in any point of the screen but you have to swipe right on the time bar. Why? It was so good in iOS 16 that you could swipe in any point of the screen! You know if there's a way to fix this or it's just iOS 17 that is bad?
